We are located in the heart of Napa Valley wine shipping hub. Our facility has a large drop yard and is monitored 24x7 for the safety of freight, staff, and vendors.

Our warehouse is temperature controlled, maintained at 65 F. It is ideal for consolidating and deconsolidating wine.

Due to our close proximity to big shippers, our customers enjoy same day service locally to collect their orders and conform to deadlines, if they are ready and released by the shipper.

Besides consolidation of wines and shipping them via various modes of transportation, we also offer OTR and ocean freight moves. We service all major intermodal ramps in Northern California. With secure drop yards in Oakland and Stockton close to the intermodal ramps helps makes us cost effective for yard storage needs if it is ever required.

With trucks every day in all major wine shipping regions, Napa Valley, Russian River areas, central valley and for all wine shipping points in the bay area, your orders are collected as soon as they are released for shipping.

Central Coast and SoCal is serviced once or twice a week as per the needs of shipping.

We offer full truck load with minimal handling of freight all kinds, FAK. Please note- minimal handling is to conform for no damages to goods.

Our LTL service is only available in Northern California right now but arrangements can be made to service your needs.

PROCESSING AND COLLECTION OF ORDERS

Our staff comprises of highly knowledgeable schedulers who are in constant contact with the majority of California wineries and wine shippers on a daily basis. With knowledge of label listings for most wineries, we are able to find shipping locations in the area. Over the years, we have built relationships with local wineries and offer efficient scheduling of your LTL wine orders.

All new orders are managed region-wise and received via two separate inbound email queues to be properly managed. Your representative can advise which email address to use.

All updated reports for open orders are sent on a daily basis with detailed information and elaborate comments on every single order. Once there is enough for a truck load to move we will contact on how to efficiently move your orders. You can count on SVT for your orders to be scheduled, picked up and shipped on time.

Our highly experienced, disciplined, courteous and promptly responding dispatch staff is available 24x7. Dispatchers maintain close contact with drivers at all times. Using advanced GPS tracking, they have precise information of the location of all trucks for prompt communication with shippers and consignee.

WAREHOUSE

Our warehouse staff is trained per latest inter-modal loading guidelines for products in closed containers and trailers, the AAR rules.

Using Toyota’s series 7 electric trucks, we ensure safety and environmental requirements are always met per California OSHA guidelines for health and safety.

Because of the added training and equipment upgrades, freight claims for 2015-2016 were less than .06% of total shipments due to the rigorous policies and procedures followed to ensure your product is handed safely and loaded securely. All the credit goes to our warehouse supervisors and staff who have very high self-imposed standards and don’t consider a job done unless it is “The Right Way”.

We provide all blocking and bracing as per railroad requirements and standards.

Side wall liners and Thermal protective covers plus insulating foil covers are stored here for your added convenience and to provide extra protection keeping in mind the weather variations during transit.

SVT only works with owner operators with driving experience higher than regular standards. This gives us an edge and helps with high retention of professionals.
